1st six weeks activities
-- whistle rules-one whistle(stop look listen), two whistles(Stop, sit-down, look and listen), Three whistles(Stop, and walk to your spots)
--Learn P.E. rules(PRIDE)
--learn how to perform several skills for the fitness gram(Pacer test, curl-up test)
-- learn procedures for walking in the gym and leaving the gym
--learn procedures for a fire drill, tornado drill, and lock down drill
--learn expectations for good sportsmanship
-- learn new songs and activities associated with different songs.
--Skill day Football skills and Volleyball skills
students will also learn how to jump rope the first six week period.
-- Kindergarten- learn line tag, learn how to use the parachute, learn spots on the gym floor, and whistle rules
Fridays we will do running or walking activities
2nd six weeks
play volleyball games.
2-5 will start to play more cooperative games that involve strategy, thinking, and sportsmanship
Fridays will be our track day we will go to the track and have a running walking activity.
3rd six weeks we will start basketball skills k-5
4-5 will play mini basketball games
k-3 will play skills games that involve shooting the ball and dribbling the ball.
k-5 will continue to play
